Dr Soon is a female ENT surgeon who completed her medical studies and postgraduate ENT specialist training in Singapore. She is one of the very few ENT surgeons in Singapore who holds dual fellowship certification in both Adult ENT and Paediatric ENT. Her clinical hands on ENT fellowships were in:
- Paediatric ENT– Stollery Children’s Hospital, University of Alberta, Canada
- Adult Snoring/Sleep Disordered Breathing Surgery, Transoral Robotic Surgery, Advanced Surgical Head and Neck oncology- GB L Pierantoni Hospital, Italy under the Human Manpower Development Plan Scholarship (HMDP), Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore
- Clinical Research Fellowship with Department of Otolaryngology- Kaoshiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital
Dr Soon was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Jurong Community Hospital, Jurong Medical Centre, Member of the National University Health System, and a Visiting Consultant to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital prior to leaving for private practice. She set up the NTFGH Sleep Surgery Service, ENT-OMS joint clinic, and was instrumental in integrating surgical care as part of the Sleep Multidisciplinary Team. She is well known for her minimally invasive snoring, sleep apnea techniques, which are safe and offer quick recovery, and is a regular international and local teaching faculty to fellow surgeons.
Besides clinical duties, Dr Soon was also active in undergraduate teaching and research. She was a regular examiner at the MBBS examinations, and has contributed to ENT textbooks and scientific literature with papers published and abstracts presented at both local and international conferences.
She is a mother of two boys.

Clinic Information
Adult & Child ENT Specialists was set up to provide ear, nose and throat care for adults and children. Common ear nose and throat problems such as allergic rhinitis, sinus and obstructive sleep apnea runs in families and can occur in young children to the elderly. Dedicated, approachable and knowledgeable, our clinic is helmed by Dr Soon who holds dual certification in the treatment of ear, nose and throat conditions in adult and children.
Our treatment process starts with a detailed consult. Examination is performed with modern and slim equipment which will provide not only an accurate diagnosis but ensure a comfortable experience for you and your child. Imaging scans, blood investigations and medications are ordered and prescribed only when necessary. Non-surgical options are always be preferred and surgery will only be recommended if indicated.
In Adult & Child ENT Specialists, we practice evidence-based medicine and fees are set according to MOH guidelines. We do not believe in rushed consultations and treatment is individualized.
Our clinic is conveniently located in Farrer Park Hospital. Surgeries are performed in Farrer Park hospital, Mt Alvernia Hospital or any Parkway Hospitals.
